This book contains a narrative. The narrative is the word narrative. The remainder of the book contains images sourced from The Eric Andre Show. This show is known for its use of surreal comedy, non sequiturs, and non-linear plot structure. It contains zero narrative whatsoever.
I wanted to mirror the chaotic mess of this television show through the creation of this art object.
I find it hard to be surprised by much today. The world we live in is absurd. It follows no sense of visible order. We search for a meaning, a narrative to give us purpose, but this is no easy feat. We are awash in useless information. In junk that follows no logic and cannot be clearly explained or understood. But we laugh and are entertained by humor that mirrors the same sentiment. We are comforted.
